Backlighting on KBT Pure and Race keyboards

There were a few GH threads on problems with the backlighting on the Race and/or Pure failing after some weeks/months of use. Any further word on this? I just received a Race, and it came with 5 keys where the backlighting is dim (about half as bright as the other keys, at all levels of brightness).

What if you pull the keys off and take a look at the LED? Isn't it about the same level as the other ones.

The lettering on the caps and the position of the LED (bottom of the switch) tricks the eye. At least if i'm looking at the keyboard.

I guess you think that the side-printet keys are brighter than the others.

Still half as bright.

Not a trick... Difference is quite large.

No, dim ones on both type of keys.

You must have a Pure. I have a Race, and the lettering and LED's are at the top of the key.

I have a KBT Race with white LEDs and I'm having flickering and dimming issues. I bought this keyboard back in february from a seller here that goes by the username Attarian. I sent him an email and a pm asking if it would be possible to get a replacement or return the keyboard, and I was told that I still have the manufacturers warranty. But he never stated how to get in contact with KBTalking to get this keyboard replaced.

Unfortunately I do not have a facebook account, but maybe I should make one.

Here's video of one of the symptoms of flickering. There's currently 2 symptoms, them flickering on and off, and the other symptom is a glowing like flicker as shown in the video below. I'll try to get around to making a facebook and try contacting them.

Sonny - I have keys that are dimmer. They don't flicker or dim. They come on and stay dimmer than the other keys.

I received my Race 75% 2 days ago (mechanicalkeyboards.com) and am having the same issue; however after flickering on and off the LED's completely shut off on the bottom row and the following keys: ?, R Shift, and End keys.

I played with the dip switches and the led options but nothing will get these keys to light up properly. Considering they were flicking out of the box I'm willing to bet there is an issue with a connection somewhere on the board.

Hoping to RMA as Vortex does not have any way to contact other than the Facebook page which I already tried.

Disappointed for what I paid. Wondering if a Filco is a better choice at this point, I really wanted the LEDs though.
