Looks like Acer switches. Light and clicky: hammer over membrane.
I've seen the same keyboard before but with other branding.

I've seen these keyboards with various brandings. Sometime ago somebody posted about a thread about some McDonnell Douglas branded ones with Blue ALPS (here it is), and I own an Alcatel branded one with complicated ALPS. I still wonder about the Keycaps. My guess would be pad printed ABS.

well, you have to differenciate ALPS switches, and ALPS clones/lookalikes. Only the old complicated ones were manufactured by ALPS Electronics, most others have been produced by various companies. Acer produced some on their own, and these are now called Acer Switches, as for some other ALPS switches you don't know the company.

I believe those are Acer switches (I can't seem to find a picture right at this moment to verify). They certainly are not ALPS of any variety that I know of, however.steve_gorden88 wrote:I have to of them and i want to sell one and for that it will be helpfull to now which switch it is, i think.

I’m no expert about keycaps by any means, but I’m pretty sure the McDonnell-Douglas keyboards have dye-sub keycaps. They’re definitely not pad-printed, and seem too smooth to be lasered.RC-1140 wrote:I've seen these keyboards with various brandings. At least on my Alcatel one the legends are too sharp to be dye subbed, and too black to be lasered. They definitely aren't doubleshots, and I think the surface is coated.
I still think they are pad printed.

Here is a picture of an Acer switch. I can't view it at work, so I'm not entirely sure what it looks like.

I just checked the McDonnell–Douglas I have side-by-side with my Model M, and I’m certain its legends are dye-sub. The colour is different, but the printing looks exactly the same. The M–D keys are definitely not coated. Needless to say, this may not be the case with the Canon.RC-1140 wrote:At least on my Alcatel one the legends are too sharp to be dye subbed, and too black to be lasered. In my limited experience, pad-printed legends tend to be shiny, often with a clear border around the character itself, and are ever-so-slightly raised above the surface. You have to run your finger over it to feel it, but it’s definitely there on the ones I’ve seen.steve_gorden88 wrote:how can i check if its pad printed or dye-sub?
Others may know of better ways of determining if they’re pad-printed or dye-sub.

That shininess could be due to wear on the caps. Several of the keys on my M–D have a shine but no wearing to the legends.
Here are some poor phone-camera photos of the keys:
Judging by how similar the legends are, I’d say there’s a good chance that they’re basically the same keycaps.
