Awesome giveaway..
This is my Filco MJ2 with Reds:
It's very minimalist. Black/red/white is the theme of my PC and all peripherals, and my keyboard had to match too
I have added a red ESC/WASD keys, and I also swapped the stock F-keys with F-keys from a Filco Camo (with media legends,) and swapped the AppsKey for a FN key. I set up an autohotkey script to make them work properly. Just need to decorate it with some other cool keycaps that match my theme.

A siig minitouch, An Access IS and an Abs M1!
The hiero key caps came today too, so I have some of them to give away.

Here is my entry : my matrix tipro keyboard, although not complete yet (still need round 4 caps).
I have tried modding it but so far didn't succeed, so I just worked with the layout at the moment. My wish is to get a somewhat compact board but without sacrificing keys... In fact I need more than on a regular board. With this I have quick access to the special caracters that are harder to get on a french layout or can map useful macros (the vX buttons change the layer).
The caps come from different boards, only the "bonbon" one has been kept (because that means candy in french ).
My cat approves
So far I love ascaii's and half-saint's mods. Hope they win !

@Djuzuh : I'm sorry, not sure I understood you correctly. Do you mean you want to know why I choose this key placement ? If so, I'll certainly talk about it later. For the moment I'm still doing modifications and testing around to see what I like most...
As for now what can I tell ? I'm seriously in love with this board. Having a matrix layout feels much more natural. I still need to invest time in learning bépo and proper touch typing, that's for sure, but I'm more motivated than ever now.
Regarding the keys, initially my only requirement was to get a "backtab" key, because it's terribly handy when you're typing or programming. As time passes by I'm becoming more and more interested in using it to the fullest... not to the point where I would get a layout as crazy as those 7bit can imagine but still. There are plenty of combinations possible, and this is still only the beginning. I also want to keep it simple, with only one matrix and no add-ons, that will make the challenge more interesting and will force me to keep programming / using the layers properly.
I have modded the double size keys to remove the second spring (my previous try was a failure because of bad quality tools), this is absolutely necessary or the force required becomes just way too much. Kbdfr has been of great advice by telling me to keep the mx black, I wished to go ergo clear but once you have overcome your old habits it's extremely pleasant to type on. And a lot less modding to do as well of course !
That's it for now. Thanks for your interest and sorry for writing a novel !

The first post has been redone and I suggest that everybody rereads it.
Please keep the entries coming .
I am also contemplating only keeping one thread open because I don't have the time to keep up with two. We will see.

I'm too lazy to update the second post with the latest entries right now, but it will get one when I'm not too busy taking pictures of my cat.
I wonder if I should close this thread or the other thread, so I can focus on maintaining only one of them.

[quote="Glissant"]Would it be fair if my wife entered her keyboard into this giveaway?
There was a keyboard in that picture?
