I'm looking to find a really cool mechanical keyboard for my friend, who really would like to have macro keys and backlighting. So far I've only been able to find standard mechanical keyboards with just the backlighting, none with macro keys.

Do you know of any others, even if there is no backlighting?

I think the BW and CMstorm Trigger (essentially the same keyboard really) is the only one that has mechanical macros. Well there was the Avia Osmium, but they were placed above the f keys so they weren't very optimal. Others like Corsair and Azio use domes on the macros... really there aren't many options. Maybe a programmable keypad for macros would be something to consider in addition to a standard keyboard. This also has the benefit of being able to move the keypad to different computers after assigned without having to install anything.

Thanks Lysol, the CMStorm Trigger looks like a very good option. Like you said, however, maybe it would be best to pick up a programmable keypad for macros.
