It is just a sign of appreciation to the official Lego guy for changing his small photo.

I just use a PCI slot cover. It works great.

I was inspired by a binder clip and made a new unit-sized puller since my brass one fell apart after disuse

I might try making a variant with a hinge for bigger keys.

I use a bit of string and a popsicle stick for those larger keys.

Here's how to make your own key-pulling rig:
  • Make an overhand loop knot into the rope.
  • Pull one of the free stands through the loop and put the two free strands together again.
  • You should now have 2 loops. Put one loop e.g. on the left side of the spacebar and push it down using the popsicle stick. Carefully pull it to the right to move it under the spacebar until it hits the left stabilizer.
  • Do the same for the right side.
  • Carefully adjust both loops to be of equal length, then pull the free strands upwards. Make sure to use the other hand to press the keyboard down and keep the spacebar from flying away.
