I'm trying to find more info on this board, i was looking at this thread here http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8 ... t3707.html
And someone posted this ebay sell, http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 1243wt_159
And this keyboard looks a lot to one i loved as a kid and went accidently to the trasher, so i would like to know more about it.
regards,

Try to ask the seller for more photos/information.
DT has a wiki on the switch: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Monterey_switch

I never took off the key caps to look at the sliders when I was a kid ...
The Monterey K208 is a rubber dome keyboard. It is mushy and silent, just like other rubber dome keyboards. I once bought one, thinking that it was a K108 ... and was a bit disappointed, although I had paid only 1 Euro + shipping for it.
The K108 and K208 are very much alike. I believe this one is a K208, but I am not sure. It is best to ask the seller for the model number and/or FCC ID.

Thanks Findecanor, is there any more variants of these? like different switch, type, etc...i managed to identify the looks by that bar pattern on the top right of the keyboard and the logo frame on the left side. it really seems identical...

The K108 doesn't have that weird molding in the case near the LEDs. Ascaii has one he's trying to sell..

I think that I have seen pictures of keyboards that had that detail, but with a different brand. I can't remember which, though, sorry.

Actually, given the age of the board it is still very bouncy compared to my Microsoft digital media keyboard. It is not too bad to type on, it's just not "clicky".Findecanor wrote:.. It is mushy and silent, just like other rubber dome keyboards ...
