Paypal keeps 1/3 of the payment (2.9 or 3.9% + $0.30 of the Gross, each time a payment is made). bastards.

Fun Fact: Paypal transaction ID numbers are indeed unique. Buyers/Sellers or Senders/Receivers have different transaction IDs from one another. Sellers/Receivers cannot track the Buyers/Senders payment with the trans ID (must be for PP's benefit).

No clue about customs fee, other than I'll assume 7bit will have to pay the customs tax of all the keycaps shipped to him to be sorted and redistributed. I swear it seems people want him to say "I pay my rent with these group buys" so they can cry foul, or just cry.

Honestly, given the amount of time and work 7bit has gone through, I would understand that he gets some kind of profit out of this GB, may this be money or getting his own keycaps order for free. He has made a LOT and a good part of it behind the scene. It's easy to order, not that much to organize everything and face criticism.

It wasn't clear that the shipping fee included costs to ship internationally twice (SP to 7bit, 7bit to U.S. buyer). Also, in the past there have also been key quantity thresholds where the shipping cost increases if you order many keys. Publishing the formula will help answer questions such as these.

The $5000 are really a guess. It might turn out less, once all Cherry switches are sold.

Shipping within US is quite the same. Shipping costs are $1350 to me.

I will not discuss the customs fees in public. Send me a pm and I can tell you how it works.

Shipping within US was $5.25 in Round 3.
Shipping to Canada was $12, to restworld $14.

For worldwide shipping of even larger boxes (up to ~400 instead of ~250 key caps), I pay 3.45 EUR, which are $4.42 today.
