Have you decided which layout you'll use?
Not yet
i would give a try to the 7 bit layout , no stabilizers and a dedicated set of keycaps :ugeek:
But i hope the change won't be too hard.
I should have bought two PCB :-)

Recieved phantom stuff in sweden now!

Just wondering, is there any page with pictures on the attached teensy on the phantom, could use for reference when soldering. Not to experienced so if anyone has the time it would be very helpful.

Thanks for a nice group buy!

It is getting time to read through the Phantom Instruction_guide very carefully.

BTW, I found that the PCB and plate with switches on it fits into an old Key Tronic KT800 case.. but there is a lot lof space around the key groups, so it does not look right. Nah, well.

I did get my switches weeks ago 8-)

By the way, i have some pics of Lister CAD about a case for the Phantom.
I have th pic but no mention of the size.
Does Lister or anyone have a precise scale of that drawing ?
I'll try to go and see my neighbour for a metal case (they make form steel to titanium ...).
Thanks

I would have if the wyse plate had been the same size:(
If I could switch for an ISO I'd be happy too. But I think it may be a Dvorak boards when the geekhack dyesubs come in.

I suspect that the dots are precisely one centimetre apart. Why don't you ask Litster for the DXF file? ;)

Hmm. I found that a mounted switch can not be opened if the switch position has stabilisers...

A little bit of filing fixed that. It does affect the use of the Costar stabiliser mounts that I got in the kit. I dunno about Cherry stabilisers, though, 'cause I haven't got any to try with.
I am pointing where I filed down the tab. There is still a tab on the right side. The tabs on the bottom are not in the way.

I was doing an ergo clear mod on one of my Phantoms yesterday and had the same problem with Cherry stabilizers. In fact, it was basically impossible to get the top of the switch off with the stabilizers installed, so I just desoldered the switches to do the mod instead of risking damaging the switch housing trying to pry them open while installed.

Yeah, I deliberatelty left the Cheery stabilizer cutouts like that, not to compromise their functionality.

I thought as much. I am sure that it was mentioned months ago, but I could not remember the details or find it when I searched for it.

There are also small barbs inside the switch holes in the plate from the manufacturing. Not a problem if you only intend to mount the switches exactly once, but they could mar the switches if you (like me last night) use the plate as a stand for lubing.

BTW, there are QR codes etched into the circuit board, all covered by black solder mask... Very hard to read. Want to disclose what they are for? ;)

You need to decide if you want the G80-2100 or just the key caps.

:-)

All remaining orders are packed and will ship today, along with some CherryMX orders.
