cleaning keycaps

hey, for some reasons my keycaps became a bit sticky
i tried everything but it doesnt work that good
cleaning with rub and some water
cleaning with some alcohol iso-something
it affects my touch feeling, my hands get sticky aswell :(

EDIT: sorry, reddit mind still on. Have you tried denture tabs overnight?

could it damage lettering from keycaps?
i mean i have a blacklit keycaps

Shouldn't do. Never tried with backlit keycaps as I hate led keyboards.

Awww. So the isopropanol affects the paint. :(
I have used some paints that are sensitive to alcohol, but I'd never thought that any manufacturer would use any for keyboard surfaces .. :roll:
I think that if you leave it to dry, it should stop being sticky when it has dried properly.

If I need to clean an individual key, I use dishwashing liquid. When I clean many keys at once, I toss the keys in a washing bag and toss the closed bag into a bowl of warm water with a few denture cleaning tablets.

its clean now, some water and rubber are needed but also enough time to dry it
my kecaps got sticky because of some keyboard cleaning stuff and alcohol, be aware of this, do not try this,
