[Call for nominees] The Deskthority Award 2012

Use this topic to suggest nominees for the Deskthority Award 2012.

This is the "super category", anything goes. You can suggest a keyboard, company, keycap set, etc. It can be something already nominated in another category as well. What was extra special in 2012? You have to give a short motivation for each suggestion. Administrators and the Keyboard Oracle cannot be nominated.

Looking at imo strong contenders in other categories:
Daniel Beardsmore for all his work on the wiki
HaaTa for all his amazing archaeology
7bit for all his continuous efforts in various things

I was gonna say bpiphany, but that might split votes with the Phantom project?

I nominate GMK electronics, in case it turns out they can make authentic Cherry caps at a reasonable MOQ. It would, if so, negate the need for the Cherry replica font project, provide the thicker caps and the exact profiles.

I don't know the status of that, is it something for this edition or maybe for next?

I think that's for the next edition. Also, it's a speculation thread on GeekHack while these are the Deskthority awards.
