Think its my normal can't make a fucking USB pinout to save my life... will pick it up tomorrow. Read litsters post that you can't just plug into the teensy. You need it plumbed into the board.

I fail at USB... So ripped it out and took VCC and Ground from the Teensy itself...



So it's working now, I'll get some build instructions up when I can.

We bad news, the product I was going to use to join the layers of acrylic sheet is crap http://plastex.net/ Just isn't working for me so I need to find another adhesive and hope it looks okay.

Anyone recommend a product?

Hot glue?

EDIT: No more nails tape, I use that stuff for everything.

Only works, if it is really acrylic. And it will start to dissolve the styringe depending on what styringe you use. So be careful.

Acetone has a tendency to make the joining layer opaque, just fyi.

It seems to have bonded a bit over time, I think some G clamps and practice, regardless it's not going to look very good. Would suggest sticking with litsters methods

If you glue instead of using screws, opaque acrylic would work better. Did you glue all layers together?

The ErgoDox is looking...gorgeous. It's going to be an absolutely lovely keyboard. I...got a little impatient waiting for the final build and group buy, so I decided to see how far I could get building something like one myself using the published .stl files.

I got further than I would have expected

For a DIY case it works, got a little better with the other half. Will photo tomorrow. The supplier didn't have the best finish on the cuts either. I'll get more photos up

I plan to use sugru to raise my ergodox instead of wine corks or screws. Sugru FTW!

Sugru is awesome! You can make your own too, equal parts silicone and corn starch.
