Just typing on it. The blues win with the mount plate. Much nicer than PCB-mounted blues.
I've got one big problem with the color of the key caps. They suggest I'm using my Tipro, which is very dark grey and therefore I type \| when I want to delete and I hit Enter when I try to type \.
I aslo try to hit Menu and Ctrl when I want to use the cursor keys ...
I think I should use beige key caps with this to avoid such problem.
Or I should finish my Phantom and put it inside the case.

It is broken by design anyway, so why did you waste glue on it?webwit wrote:Phew, good, I thought I was in trouble with my broken but glued signature plastics keycap puller.

Guilleguillaume!
Thank you very much for sending me this keyboard!
It has Leopold caps except for the original Filco spacebar.
You're right but the spacebar still works! It has a MX Green underneath modded by Sixty.webwit wrote:Don't worry! I see sixty's mighty trademark right thumb already destroyed that keyboard's space bar. I doubt it will actuate anymore.
I just sent the keyboard because I wanted to make someone else happy with it. I was free to send anything and decided to gift a keyboard I was not using anymore instead of selling it, that's about it
DHL is fast as hell because in less than 24 hours the keyboard went from Barcelona to Berlin. I was expecting it to arrive next week

Filco Leather wrist rest, Keyboard cover Cherry Stickers and selection of caps! I'm a happy bunny!!!

Wait! Keyboard was not included?
Going by the key caps and stickers, it must be some Korean member.

How should that work?litster wrote:could we further the secret santa game by having an option to "steal" other people's gift?
BTW: Opened the Filco. Only took me my fingers and a screwdriver for the 2 center-front latches. Thanks to Ripster's guide, I had not to find the exact position by myself!
How to open a Filco
Looks much nicer without the top cover.
Next steps:
soldering the Phantom together and swap the Phantom with the Filco guts and I've got the perfect tenkeyless-7BIT-layout keyboard!
