lysol, do you really think there will be big demand for full sets in the standard colors? I know there is a demand in the standard modifiers, but not sure about full sets, as you can get them quite easily from other sources.
I would have done the whole thing in complete other way. Now standard mods for existing stuff and later on "coloured" full sets.
Nevertheless, appreciate all your efforts.

Some language is easy to find in full sets certainly like US and DE, others not so much. Also there will be those that would prefer new over a used set or NOS with potentially wrong key sizes in any case, or those that have never gotten into Cherry doubleshot previously. I can only speculate, but I think there may be or I wouldn't be expending so much effort.

Lysol.
Liking your proposal for grouping languages and the mod kits are a great construction. For what the opinion is worth.
I'm thinking ahead and wondering about a numpad kit to cover fullsize and fully cover common separate numpads like filco, cherry, and goldtouch - even if this is done in part with colour matched relegendables. Just some thoughts...

As far as I know at the moment they only have Cherry style stem spacing available for 6.25. We are discuss with about adding another stem for center standard.

Yes, of course many people will want Dolch. Offer too many colorway at once though and I fear MOQ may not be met for anything. It may be tough with just one colorway depending. We will have to wait and see interest levels for each.

I recommend to run it with just one color. At least this is what I will do....lysol wrote:Yes, of course many people will want Dolch. Except they lower their MOQ to 100 sets. That should be doable in more than one color.

Yes it all depends on how much they are willing to work with us on quantity, if we can take any advantage of 'stock' sets they use for thier stuff like WEY and so on.
What a lovely keyboard kbfr

I wouldn't have anything against seeing if there is enough interest for alternate layout like dvorak, colemak, bepo, neo, etc to offer them, but I somehow don't suspect there will be. I offered dvorak in my dyesubs buy and there was only like 10 sets or so. Dyesubs is a bit more freindly to running small quantity and still have something nice.
1.5 mods are covered though, and we are offering them on this current buy in the CMYK and modifier packs. See the IC thread in the marketplace.

I wonder what would happen if all the keyboard companies out there were informed of this, if one of them might pick it up. Imagine if say CM, Ducky, Filco or some other rather large company where to launch a keyboard with doubleshots. Perhaps we could get in on it easier then, if they carried the MOQ.
Does anyone know if Cherry has ever made doubleshots with Swedish or Nordic layout? I was wondering if some legends exist at all or if they would have to be cut. Yes, I realise that this is isn't feasible, even if they had them, but I would still like to know just how unlikely it is to ever happen.

I believe it will be US ANSI Olivetti colorway.
For you nordic folks, maybe try to persuade duckynordic to become a GMK vendor?

You surprised it's not happening with ISO? When was the last time people cared about other people. As long as they get what they want they don't give a shit about others. There are people that don't follow this rule but sadly they seem to be few and far, even more so at GH, people there just seem very selfish.BimboBB wrote:Time to say good bye than to ISO dreams made out of GMK keycaps.

No, I am not surprised that ISO will be not included in a vendors selection. I am surprised that vendors now going for their own full keycap sets without having community involved. Never seen that before and think thats a bad development for everybody (not only for the ISO friends).

Much more likely that they are moogle kits.
Can't image that they are willing to front tens of thousands of euros
