autocomplete queries search

i was reading a thread about the goupil board and cherry my. after querying cherry my, the search engine could not find the link, since it was typed in lowercase. it did recognize it when the first char of the second word was entered - in this case 'My'

this is not the first time it happens. maybe it's not a biggie and i should just type 'my' in uppercase instead.

searches should ignore case. I am surprised it is not on by default.
