Well done on answering my post like a cunt. Why do people attack me when I talk about there motives?precarious wrote:I had to read your post five times until I understood what you were saying.fossala wrote:Why don't you just sell it for the 100gbp you bought it for. I did a nice thing a showed it to the community rather than buying to sell. Would be a bit poor if you then did the same.
I did not purchase this keyboard because you so benevolently presented it to this community. I purchased it because I regularly refresh eBay while working from home, I saw it immediately upon being listed, and I knew that there was no information regarding this particular model from having previously looked into various older Cherry boards. In fact, I did a "nice thing" and posted a thread about it on Geekhack prior to changing my mind and buying it, while we're inflating our egos.
I'm getting some kind of accusatory tone from the previous two postings, but perhaps English is not your native language. Or perhaps that's just the way things are around here.
Maybe I'll just shoot it with my handgun and post a video of that instead. The primary implication of my post was that perhaps I paid too much for it, and so not even that would be reasonable. Excuse me for making an inquiry. Next time I won't seek information, I guess.

Probably because you sometimes come across as a bit aggressive . Not everyone is a clack reseller...
I think it's okay for someone to make a little bit of profit on a board once in a while, as the chances are they'll lose a bit on the next.

I'm not horrible for the sake of being like it. But I'm not going to refrain from speaking my mind. I'm sorry if I caused offence. What I don't like is people attacking me because I ask them a question.

I've seen FX and CF, maybe there are more. FX stands for FXESC, clickclack's website which was never completed, and CF for Clack Factory.

I see, these have FX and something really close to an E I think. Do you have any idea how much they're worth these days though? Trying to decide if I should sell them and put money into a topre. They are Cherry MX keycaps.

Do you have a photo of the actual item? Oddly, I may be interested.LollyWater wrote:Selling, most likely used.rodtang wrote:Buying or selling? New or used?LollyWater wrote:What's my rubber dome IBM KB-8923 worth?
Either way it's not worth much but it's a pretty good rubberdome, best I've used.

There are linear, clicky and tactile ones in a bewildering assortment of shapes — hopefully over time, more photos will get added to that page. They generally seem to be accepted positively by owners. At the time of writing, I still can't figure out what provides the tactility in the tactile ones, and the purpose of the eyes remains a mystery: one Philips P2812 has white (linear) switches without eyes, the other (yours) has the eyes. Eyes are also optional on the grey ones.

I might sell my Cherry APL set (German ISO layout) and would like to know what it's worth.

plasticchair, I can't remember if you said the bottom row were double shot?
however do the right thing and sell to someone in germany.
or give them to me I'd be tempted just to get my hands on the mods, I'd pass the rest onto a german typist.
offer 60 euro as a start?

Since those APL caps are the only set to appear...there is no way to accurately put a value on them.
You should auction them if you are in it for the cash. If you plan to pass them on to someone for a fair and decent price, I would value them realistically at 70-100€

if you really want to sell it,
make an auction here or on gh (or ebay)
and someone will pay a lot of money for it
but be sure, you wont find another one

If I were you I would keep that set. It's(as far as we know) something unique.
This could be one of those sets that travel through a lot of hands just because people want to make money with rare things.
I know I would regret selling them.

With the ducky shine tkl now, it's hard to want a dragon for premium price.Ecneret wrote:Ecneret wrote:Hi, I have a Ducky Year of the Dragon with brown switch used only for 2 weeks. How much does it worth ?
So I guess YotD worth nothing huh ?
I would say a used dragon, around $140 USD.
There is the same model but with different legends for sale on GH, for only $120, but it has some issues with the 'a' key.

You should be able to replicate what the "switch" looks/feel like from that.
