SP already did a FR kit (several indeed) but there were errors... one iunder the mu and there were 4 { for the altgr characters instead of 2 [ and 2 {matt3o wrote:The FR set alone would be around $13 in the first tier, but please note the there might be molds that SP don't have. That would be $45 for each new key. (I'm going to ask)
Also... aren't number and symbols inverted?

I'll take care of them doing it right Unfortunately molds are per family and as far as I can tell they have very few molds in DSA

Nice Set. But I have some questions about a space bar, because the keyboard (NEO) I would use this set on is really wired at this point. 6.25 Units should be right but the mountpoints are not like Filco.
Picture: http://www.computerbase.de/forum/attach ... 1358884203
Top is a cap that fits on a Filco, bottom is a universal space from SP and the middle one is from the NEO. The stabs uses the middle stems on the sides and the same stem as the Filco in the middle.
Am I right that the 6.25 unit space offered here is the same as the bottom one on the pic? Is there any chance to get a space that would fit on the NEO or whould the 6 unit DSA fit? (with some space to the neighbour keys)

The DCS spacebar is the standard SP universal. Regarding the 6 unit DSA, can you measure the distance of the outer stems you need from the center one?

It's been almost a month now since I paid you for the TIpro board, and you have still not sent it and keep ignoring my PM's. What's up with that? I'm getting kind of pissed by this now... Thought you were a good salesman. Do I really have to go public and spam threads just to get a response from you ?7bit wrote:Yes, but the molds are not for DSA, but for DCS and SA family.

Maybe it might be useful to ask again for an entire Euro-Kit and an additional France Kit (they have quite much unique legends, so might be better to have them on their own). I just had look over 7bit's euro-kit and took out a few keys which had:
1. nearly the same legends (just different on third/fourth legend)
2. were included because of different rows (problem doesnt exist here)
3. already included in extra key kit (maybe still possible to swap them into a euro-pack)
Not sure, if i overlooked something.

very nice group buy!
The order form is very well done.
For common keyboards we should make a reference with keycap size in the wiki like this:
http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/keycap-compatibility
With it, I would be able to make an order without someone else Maybe some other guys would be happy too?

I believe a pan-European kit might end up costing some bucks more than the standard ALPHA (plus the custom keys)

personally I'd prefer 1 kit to rule them all, so we could include languages that wouldn't meet the MOQ

Oups didn't knew that...7bit wrote:Yes, but the molds are not for DSA, but for DCS and SA family.
a Pan euro maybe nice (what a symbol ! ) but many will buy FR keys useles for them, and if the price is higher than separate language sets...
It's time to get an unified layout...

I'm afraid this unified layout will be mainly a mixture of SE and DE layout, still far away from FR layout.Gilgam wrote:...

You can throw out evrything which is in the UK/7BIT kit (Extra kit), which is already included!BimboBB wrote:Not sure, if i overlooked something.
I'm so lucky, that my plain 7bit-ASCII-language kit made it.

I need to know if you want 1 pan-European set or N smaller kits (one per language).
What languages do we need? We talked about: FR, DE, IT, ES, UK, anything else?

SE, but that is one language I would recommend lumping with DE, since they are incredibly similar. Unless im mistaken, it would add only 3 keys to combine the two.

Think I did. A few keys from dirge, seems to be not original UK. At least they are not in the euro-kit.7bit wrote:You can throw out evrything which is in the UK/7BIT kit (Extra kit), which is already included!BimboBB wrote:Not sure, if i overlooked something.
@matt3o
I support whatever is more useful with regards to MOQ and legend fee distribution.

Though if it hits 50, that would be a step in the right direction.
