So, last weekend, I bought my self Rosewill RK-9000BL. It is pretty expensive for that it has no macros, no multimedia keys, no backlight but it was on sale so I bought it. My guestion is, anyone else have Rosewill keyboards? Experience from them? I'm looking forward for my first experience for gaming & typing with mechanical keyboard. Sorry my bad English, I'm from Finland

I have heard about them breaking but it's only a small handful. IIRC it was a dodgy wire/solder where the wire is. Other that than I can't see why they wouldn't be any good. For the price I don't think you can get much better.

Overall they are very close to Filco in quality, except the micro usb port can fail prematurely due to poor way it is attached as fossala said. Consider the price of Filco to these which are almost identical and it is a really good deal and a good keyboard.

Got the keyboard from mail today. Loving the typing and how it really feels something compared to a rubber keyboard .
I was allso thinking the connection wire in first hand, why couldn´t they just integrate it or something... Seems to work for me with both cables. Positive side is that when you travel with it, the cable isn't vulnerable to brake or anything. Oh god, I love typing this message...

I owned one of these for about 5 months, then the mini USB port broke off. I RMA'd it and they sent me a new one. The new one failed on me just last week (after about 7 months of use) at the exact same place. I would suggest stabilizing the plug if you can. Choose the cable that you want to use and epoxy it or glue it in permanently.
I just bought a DasKeyboard Pro to replace my Rosewill.

it's not the cable but the usb port you plug the cable into that seems to break, AFAIK.

I've been on typing on my RK-9000 with Cherry MX Reds for a couple of months now and no problems except for some fading on the legends, but that's just natural for this printing method. I don't move the keyboard around or detach the cable pretty much ever, so can't comment anything on those connector breaking issues. And as for the price, it's dirt cheap in comparison to the competition when you really look into things - you can't compare a mechanical keyboard with some rubberdome gaming keyboards that have 20 macro buttons and blinking backlighting . Plus these have a 3-year warranty here in Finland, which is pretty awesome!

Hi all. Just reporting my experience. Everything is working as it should and I'm more than happy . Only that the "w" key is starting to fade but it's natural for this printing method as said before. I recommend this keyboard very much!
