Regardless of borders, we're talking about human lives here.

And again, I'm no hippie, if it was up to me I'd make a selection of few dozen thousands of best samples (no health issues, no cancer, no AIDS, high IQ, all the quality genes), exterminate the rest (this would obviously mean sacrificing myself in the process - but I would!) and carry on humanity in real, full glory. Because it would be logical and it would be best for humanity as a species. BUT we're not doing that, so killing people for no fucking reason is stupid.
So... you're a Nazi ? hahahahahha... um , hrrmm.. um.... hrrrmmmmm......................

Well, eugenics isn't fundamentally bad.. it's like GMO foods really, we're trying to evolve faster than natural selection..

The issue has always been the difficulty in selecting that set of Genes to grow from.. very hard to say for sure if it will succeed..

But more than anything else.. I don't think it's necessary.

Look at the population projections of any developed nations. The fertility rate will always fall below 2.0 per female human..

This means that the population once basic needs and safety is met, will naturally trim its unnecessary leaves..

So, there's no need to FORCE this process to happen tomorrow with a few thousand people, because the trimming/ culling (quite morbid) haha, happens on its own..

See what Mu said. This black or white extremism kills thought. What is a human without a thought?

No, such an idea does not make me a nazi. Nazi means national socialist and is a political view.

I am saying what would be LOGICALLY best for humanity, pure logic, when you strip away all emotions, all empathy. It is a THOUGHT. It is not doable, it never will be doable, it is just an idea which can spring an interesting debate ... when you're surrounded by right kind of people.

What you're saying is not what I'm saying. I am saying we could cure cancer, aids, all genetical diseases, all genetical imperfections by exterminating the carriers. We could exterminate blindness, etc. What you see in developed nations is nothing like that, we're propped up by great medical care and safety nets, that allow even the biggest idiots to survive.

This is only true among the poor..

As soon as someone lives in affluence for a while, they become reasonable and open to incentive for m0ar money.

Now with the extreme religions, it's actually the Godless folks at their leadership level which brainwashes their subjects to do extreme things for profit.. The poor people on the bottom are just being lead..

No, what I wanted to tell you is, that you think you're just, you're right, because you're the one who wields an M4 and the holy bible. The other poor bastard, who wields an AK and Quran is de facto wrong.

And this kind of logic is borderline retarded. Coincidentally, this is also how americans are viewed by most of the world as well.

Sadly, yes. You don't realise how batshit lunatic imperialist and evangelical you guys can seem by your actions abroad. Everything you do in the Middle East seems to be in preparation for the Book of Revelations. Certainly wasn't just for smooth, worry free, extraction of oil.

It puts a lot of the people of Europe right off politicians who want to work with you. Look at how we shitcanned Tony Blair!

@TP: Yup. Like all those low income white voters in the rust belt, reliably Low Tax For Millionaires! Republican, and positively mad for Trump.

Trouble is, everyone's corruptible. We all have beliefs. None of us are Vulcans. Only Romulans!

Funny cuz the nazi said the same thing as you did.. I don't actually think you're a nazi.. i'm just using that term allegorically..

as for cancer aids genetic diseases, imperfections..

there's some misconception you have there.

We can't cure cancer, because cancer is not one specific disease, and it can be caused by a myriad of factors.. It's impossible to isolate a group of people and say, these dudes, never cancer.. never...

No matter how healthy you are, you will get cancer given enough time (Alive).. Cancer is a 50/50 percentage beyond the age of 70 simply due to aging.. when cells divide, little mistakes occur such that eventually, failure..

Genetic disease.. This is also impossible to perfectly select for because of random mutations, today no babies with 6 toes, tomorrow 1 baby with 6 toes..

Imperfections.. what do you consider imperfect.. hahaha.. let's only breed ryan gosling and zooey deschanel

hahaha..

Pretty sure eugenics originate from the UK, not WW2 Germany (this is what simpletons usually refer to as nazi). I didn't say I'm a biogenetic engineer, obviously I'd let professionals work out the details (=also not you).

EDIT: Oh, right, this is what you remind me of:

I like spock, i like commander data more, but i'm cool with spock..

But overall I believe the vulcan concept is oversold and just WRONG..

That society shouldn't be possible.. given perfect logic, and complete fulfillment of desires by their advance technology, the logical conclusion would be to sit, do nothing, and die..

So if we are then to asssssume that they have Flaws in their logic, which allows them to Aspire to live and grow..

Then, that would mean they're no different from the Romulans and that they're only a less militant sect..

Don't piss off the Germans. He's more than just a comic book villain to them. That shit really happened.

Anyway, nice book. Pretty sure I've read it here and there on the internet, albeit serialised…

As for the Vulcans: they're explorers, and (in their certain picky way) humane. They make sense when you factor in the need to keep inquiring, so as to further scientific knowledge for its own sake, and the objective scientific socialist utopia they presumably live as a society, helping to maintain themselves.

As usual, political concepts work so much better in fiction! Though some fringe communists did see this happening on Earth:
Posadists were once notorious on the far left for their cultish devotion to their leader and their bizarrely positive views on nuclear war. Later on, they became more of a laughing stock as they delved into ufology (with a distinct Commie spin!) and New Age babble. To be fair, Posadas went more than a little weird after getting tortured.

Hahaha.. is that not a fact of life though?

In reality , the AFK reality, just because two people can have a discussion in a more cordial manner, does not mean one person's internal voice isn't painting the other as a WW2 villain..

And I must reiterate what I said in the other thread..

Tp4 will Decimate and Obliterate All Opposition to the Truth.. This slogan and slogans of this type does not emphasize the Literal execution of its underpinning.. How could one person do so much, he can't..

But it does outline the Fervor and Mindedness which forms the firmament of debate..

You Must be playing to win, why else play...

I find it funny how tp4 came into DT, guns blazing, obviously TRIG-G-G-ERED, but to no avail. He came to Europe, the home of apathy. As Dylan Moran said it: Americans are used to giving it their all, 100%, 1000%, 10 THOUSAND percent! Europeans, we can do - at most - 8%. Maybe, if it's an emergency, somebody's head was cut off or something, we can give 11%. But that's really the top.

I can still remember the very fine moment, years ago, when I first triggered tp4. You see, our beloved burger here is an avid ergodox fan. So I posted my home made ergo-hhkb-dox. Holy shit he triggered hard on me.

OK, to get back on topic. It's friday, I'm done with work, got a promotion today, my bathroom is FINALLY finished (you have no idea what it feels like having something as basic as a shower after 2 weeks of having to go over to mum's for a shower) and girly is coming over. All in all good day.

How are y'all, really? Mu, how is your mum?

I don't remember the triggered moment too vividly..

But I do remember that photo.. And I used something similar but more ghetto, a filco ninja and a cm quickfire.. THe problem was the inputs wouldn't always space properly so you'd get left right letter inversion.. so it wasn't a perfect system.

As for the current single player shitstorm going on in DT's dumbest ever thread, I've talked it over with my fellow Templars. Best to just ignore them completely for a bit and see if it makes a lick of difference. I doubt it will, with Chuck on a rampage, but let's run the experiment.

Funny that. For me, it's unusual to hear quite so much for Leave! Admittedly from the libertarians and Americans, rather than the EU locals.

In Scotland, we essentially have nobody campaigning for Leave. It's England's fight: their independence from foreign rule, as the Scottish born Tory and public hate figure Michael Gove so eloquently described for them! There's not exactly much going on with the Remain side here either. The fact is it all looks like someone else's business. Much like when the BBC keeps reporting on sports events we never qualified for!
