Does anyone know of a good way to mount ML switches so i can use a custom layout?

Im currently working on a project to design a custom 40% layout keyboard with cherry ML switches. The issue i'm having is figuring out how to mount my switches. The only way i can think of is to chop up the pcb and rearrange it to fit my layout and use the pcb as a mounting plate of sorts.
