I love that green and white, but I think that it looks best on a white keyboard.

David started a group buy over at kbdmania or something like that.
Based on my trusty google translator, fonts are graphics, setup fee $10 per key.
I like the details they give in the korean group buys. Everything is broken down and you know what you pay for.
There was an order thread but I don't know where that went, this is the interest check thread I think.

They even organized a sorting party for the keycaps

No, they are printed.litster wrote:interesting, 2 different Windows keys. Also, Print Screen and Pause has front letters. Are the front letters double shot too?
These are from SP.tsangan wrote:Wonder if this was commissioned to SP also
Look at the line of the Return arrow.

I followed the link and saw that they used custom legends and had only to pay $10 per legend instead of $25. Seems the price for these gets down quite a bit when there are more of them.tsangan wrote:Good eye 7bit ;D
SP gets love from everyone around the world haha
So a different font is not so much out of reach as I've thought.

I'd buy one of those graphite sets. If only SP didn't have those sprue marks on the front of their keys.

You can type with your keyboard upside down?

My mistake.
SP does indeed have the sprue marks at the front of the caps.
I got them mixed up with the the other type of keycaps
My Topre Lavender WASD has a sprue mark inside the keycap, that should fit your requirements

Only a few.kaiserreich wrote:How many custom legends are there in the GB4?
There are:
GLIDER, TUX, GNOME, BSD,COMMODORE, LOTUS,
COMMAND, DTESC, HANDBAG, BACKSPACE,
ARROWUP,ARROWDOWN, ARROWRET,MARROWUP,MARROWDN,
CARROWS (4 keys), AWESOME,KBDRUNNER, KEYBOARD,
PIRATEFLAG, TAPEDRIVE,L OD, VIM
25.
No, only once. Except it will be placed on a new key (like 1.5 units instead of 1.25 units).tsangan wrote:7Bit, If we were to use the same custom legends as them would we have to pay the legend fee again? A little confused as to how SP works their pricing.
The only question is, will KBDMania allow us to use their work?

Those were from SP and the front letters are printed other than double shot.
It cost $10 per legend.

I really like the legend placement and sizing on those keys, it looks classy and clean. The colouring on the dark grey/navy (hard to tell) reminds me of an IBM board I used to have.

top-left, bottom-left, buttom-right.
The designer obviously did not know what he wanted.
The design should be more consitent:
Return and Shift right have the labels right (an attempt to have some symmetry?), but right Alt and Control are at the left.
The 6 cursor movement keys could be considered function key and should be bottom-left.
Tab has the symbols to the right, shift to the left ....
But nice font and color-scheme.
