L-shape USB-USB long enough for Leopold FC660C?

As per the title... I have a leopold FC660C and I would like to get a L-shape mini-USB->mini-USB(or even micro) so I can connect it to my devices in L-way, instead of straight, while also relieving a bit the strain of the continuous plug/unplug on the port which is directly solded into the PCB and prone to wear/failure. If I have the L connector I will be wearing the adaptor instead of the port itself.

But so far I ordered 2 different L-shape adapters and both were too short for the Leopold (which has the port quite recesed in the case). If somebody has one that is working fine with the Leopold, could you please share brand/model or link where I could buy it?

These cheap adaptors don't advertise their real dimensions with precision so I end buying them by the pictures, hoping for the best, and I haven't had much luck so far, after two failed attempts. Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen one adapter that fit.
Only L shape cable can fit, so you might as well get one of those and maybe not unplug it as much if you're concerned about wear.

Very good point this is one of the few design flaws of the otherwise superb FC660C. Let me know if you find one please.

Actually, I managed with a bit of cunning and a cutter! :)

First I took this one, because it is made of relatively soft plastic:

Then with a cutter I eliminated about half mm or so, cutting the plastic right to the edge of the connector. It is a perfect fit. There is still the tiniest space left as light still pass between the edge of connector and the case when plugged to the very end.

Now the problem was that most USB mini connectors have a bit of bulge on the head that would be a problem with the connector so close to the case, so I had to get a cable I could take the bulge away with the cutter, so it had to be of soft plastic. I used this one and worked great:

Hope that works for you all too. Cheers

Also, while talking about the Leopold... Some of my black keys with white legends (like yours, seebart, although without the cool korean symbols) are showing the legends fading (it is quite noticiable in a few keys, mostly in the lower row). Is it possible to buy the standard set of keycaps for it?

I've seen spare keycaps sets for the HHKB and the Realforce in ebay, but never stumbled upon a Leopold one. And while Topre-compatible, some of the key I need can only be found in Leopold keyboards. I contacted the Leopold company by email about a week ago but they dind't reply yet. :(

BTW, just in case you are confused, I changed my name Montblanc to Alpinist.

When I joined about a week ago I chose Montblanc, being the tallest mountain in the ALPS :) , without even thinking in the pen/watch brand, until it was pointed to me later. It bugged me afterwards, like if I was having a "Rolex" username or something, :)
