First of all, thanks to Deskthority and Clack Factory for the Voter Prizes in the recent awards! My key caps arrived yesterday, so here are some pics.

On my Filco R:

They are of very high quality. Those splat keys are thick-walled, chunky bodied and nicely finished. The Buckling Skull is well detailed, crisp and a fine bit of work. Excellent stuff!

They look great. Splat keys on a blank Filco works really well. Regarding the IBM key, I knew I should have rigged that competition!

Hey Nathanscribe! - want to trade a NIB Model M13 for those? You'll get a much better deal on shipping than I will.

The SPLAT! keys would look great on my Camo.

That's the third offer in two days... I might well sell/trade but not just yet. :)

I would stick with them for a while, if I were you. The value will most likely increase. And they are pretty unique, unlike an M13 or money. Unlike money, they are inflation proof. There's of course the chance clickclack will release these in quantity, but then you still got the first "prototypes".

Are these dye-splat dye-subbed?

Oh they're definitely staying around for a while. I didn't know these splats were prototypes though - that might account for the interest.

Nope - double and triple shot. 8-)

Also, the eagle-eyed may have noticed that the key next to the upended splat in the thickness comparison picture is a Round 3 Signature Plastics double-shot escape.
