I recently cleaned up and got working an FK-8000

I am starting to notice multiple press key problems when playing games. It goes through AT -> PS/2 -> Signal Converter to USB. I hold W to go forward, my player will go forward for a second, stop, then a continuous stream. But walking on angles does not seem to be possible, such as pressing W and A to move forward and left. Is this a ghosting or blocking issue? Can this be fixed or is it just something to deal with.

The keyboard types 100% fine, with all of the keys in working condition, but I just started to notice this issue now.

Maybe some controller issues. My Focus 5001 occasionally puts out ghost keys although it has diodes in line with every switch.

I'm not worried about it. It is a great keyboard, but my IBM Model M just came in the mail today, and I'll be using that as my main keyboard. Soon I plan to see if I can get a swap going with my FK-2000 spare and the FK-8000. I'd like to mod my Atari 1200XL keys to fit on a cherry board as a mini keyboard that I can take with me on my laptop.
