I'm finally done transferring some pictures to my computer.
The attendance was quite solid and there were more people than I had expected, maybe like 35-40 or so. There were raffles for 3 sets of keys for Topre boards and a new RBG board with linear Cherry clones. There was also a typing sound recognition contest, and the winner of which was awarded with a poop artisan of his choice. Most of the participants also got the PRKL19 event keycap.
Almost all of the keyboards were using MX-style switches but there were a few other boards as well. Unfortunately there weren't too many Alps (and clone) boards for people to try out. I remember seeing SCKM Whites, SMK Blues, and Matias clickys. I don't think there were that many DT users and they were mostly from Reddit and some finnish forums but please tell me if I'm wrong!
So here are some pics:

Some nice stuff on show there. Naturally, the non-MX ones are what catch my eye. HHKB, check. Monterey K-110, check. SSK, check. You guys did fall a little short in the Model F and beamspring department, mind!
Wait, the only Model M was a fullsize? I declare this meet-up compromised!
Seriously, though, I like the overall emphasis on compact and ergo layouts. Just needs more vintage. If I’m ever up Helsinki way, guess I’ve got to pack some unobtainium…

I wanted to bring my interesting IBM's (5251, F XT, 3479JA1 and the Pingmaster) but there were only so many boards I could fit in my backpack in the metro. There wasn't any free parking space for at least 3h nearby enough that I could've come with my car and carry them with my broken armMuirium wrote: ↑20 Jan 2019, 18:38Some nice stuff on show there. Thanks for sharing the pictures, it's always nice to see some vintage stuff at the meetups. Sadly due to size and weight it's always a struggle to bring them to the meetup location. I personally could only bring my SSK (and a small Rohde board) to mechanicon in Frankfurt cause everything else was too large for my suitcase. Damn you vintage keyboards for being so large
Many people will never see or feel these unicorns so it's nice to have the variety of boards at a meetup. Seeing these pictures makes me yearn after the next meetup in Germany

The key would be to host it in a place with good parking. I did bring my beamspring to a Hataa meet at GitHub once, what feels like half a lifetime ago. Not that San Francisco has good parking, but I wasn’t driving!
