Hi,
I've been wrestling with a Soarer's converter for about a week now. (I'm totally going to build an adapter running QMK.) I can't find anywhere how to make a key output one thing when it's tapped and another when it's held. (On a Model F/XT) I'd like F9 to be F9 unless I hold it down, then I'd like it to be LCTRL.
Anybody know how?

You can't, apparently. Which is why I switched to TMK.

I think I can probably get by with Soarer's code for a 122-key but on the F XT there is so little to work with that I basically need TMK/QMK. Not that I don't love the XT, I absolutely do, but it comes to life with dual function keys. You don't need 'em so much on a board that has 122 keys, though... it'd still be nice to have a dual function "Caps Lock" key so I can have v quick access to Esc but not the end of the world.
