Unable to help myself I have started collecting some old keyboards with arabic legend keycaps I find on the internet. I made a thread recently on bluesky but i've always wanted to share here so I'm gonna repost and share some photos! Most of the keyboards were in decent physical condition but poor condition for the switches I did a complete teardown of every keyboard, including switch dissasembly and hand cleaning everything before reassembling.
First up is this Acer 6311. I need to see if i can clean the acer switches up a little better since theyre a little scratchy but these legends look great to me, i love their thick brush stroke and they look in good condition
next up a Monterey K104 with smk alps mount switches! I had to buy some switches off ebay yo replace some dead ones, reviewers were right about them being hard to reassemble! but smk second gen are a great clicky switch if you can try them out. I like the way this case looks too.
Then there's my NTC 6151EA the case was very badly damaged im shipping when I got it, and i did my best to weld it back together. The switches are a mix of decent to worn out condition but they still are really great, i never thought id have a blue alps board and I definitely understand the hype
Also forgot to take good pictures of it but an apple m0118 as well

Neat collection. I remember seeing some IBM keyboards with arabic legends on eBay in the past. Here is my only board with arabic legend board in my collection.

I also have this Ortek MCK-201. I ended up replacing all the switches with mathias clickies that I had on hand (they were older simplfied alps clones). We'll see how they hold up. Been using at a desktop for a bit but might cycle it out, I really don't want to wear off the legends cause they're so nice.
