Can anyone shed light on what is happening? Will Topre still remain the Typing Emporer?

Also that guy is dumb as a cork - keypress statistics isn't a "keylogger" and storing actual logs of keypresses requires A LOT more storage space than heatmap of keypresses.
Not saying the Classic or Hybrid were bad, they just didn't feel as tactile. It might just be how the rubber ages too. I've heard they stiffen with age and that probably affects the tactility. Of course my Hybrid didn't feel as tactile as my Classic. So, there are differences between their new models too.DMA wrote: 12 Mar 2025, 02:15 As for the rubber.. could be that new rubber is more "ecological" and doesn't contain "harmful chemicals" anymore which actually made rubber feel like rubber and not plastic. I do notice that older power cords (the ones that haven't disintegrated into sticky goo) are way more flexible.
Could be something else entirely too. I only (and accidentally) own a single old topre keyboard, so can't even tell if the difference exists![]()
I actually have couple old rubber domes - sun type 5 and dell whatisitsname, with a contoured space.JCMax wrote: 12 Mar 2025, 14:35 Not saying the Classic or Hybrid were bad, they just didn't feel as tactile.
