Please vote for nominees for the Deskthority Award 2012.
This is the "super category". What was extra special in 2012?
You can use a maximum of 5 votes.
This is round 2. This round is used to trim down the suggested nominees from round 1 - the 5 entries with most votes will be promoted to official nominees and make it into the third and final round.
See the first round for reference and motivations.

I can understand your point as I also see these awards as a cool thing.
But imagine, for instance, the Academy itself would be nominated for...best supporting actor (or pick any other category; special effects for their show, whatever). Sounds a bit funny, right?

If I win, can I forego the prize in favour of working SVG fonts? :-P

Ooh, in that case you will be using your wingnut to sponsor open source svg library programmers?

I don't think it's the server. It can find the fonts. But the software rendering it in svg sucks.
