Is the Filco Touchpad any good? Anyone owns or has tried one? I wasn't able to find any review for that unit...

Yes, I didn't like it. Not better than the touchpad on your laptop.

Actually that one in the picture seem to be a newer version? The one I remember lookd smaller and had different button shapes.

I believe the picture is from 2009... anyway, it displays the same unit now sold by TKC. That looks bulky enough, and I find it quite expensive - yes that's cheaper than the Apple trackpad, but still!

I must confess that I find the Apple Magic Trackpad somewhat intriguing. I'd rather wait till someone makes a cheaper, wired clone (which inevitably will have more functionality)

I use something similar and am very satisfied with it, apart from the terrible hard to cklick mouse buttons which I don't use.
