Hey fellas! I took my first excursion into the world of keyboard modification by switching out the black cherries in my Genovation keypad with greens and customizing the physical unit a bit. I bought a keyboard with green cherries and loved them to death, so I bought a supply of them from these fellas: http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/ ... t2760.html
Looked like this at first:
Pulled it apart, unsoldered the blacks:
Greens going in:
Soldered 'em in, glued the board to a piece of painted wood, put the keycaps back on:
Tucked comm wires in with some glue:
Buttons back in, finished product!
Now to figure out what to do with the rest of those switches...
