Hi.
Just wanted to ask, if anyone know, if its possible to get a keyboard like that ?
Ive got a ducky atm with PBT keycaps, and im pretty happy with it. But would like to try a new one, with backlight, if that was possible ? With Brown MX keys

Deck / TG3 keycaps are already PBT. I don't think you can count the ABS skirt as it's not a surface you type on.Muirium wrote:I assume you mean PBT caps, right? Afraid not. Backlit caps are always ABS, unless Deck really has mastered PBT ones.
Also not necessarily correct. Other than Deck keycaps, there are others that are thicker. This mionix set I have here aren't that thin, for example.Muirium wrote:They always do. Backlit ones have to be quite thin, too. It's a big sacrifice on cap quality.
What I recommend is imsto PBT. For whatever reason, the white blend that he uses lets a lot of light through and it's diffused. It's enough to clearly see the backlight quite well, but you can also read the legend. I really like the effect, as it diffuses a lot of the light and isn't as much as a "spot" as most backlit keycaps are.
It all depends on what you want out of your backlit keycaps, but they are PBT, thick, you can read the legend, and they let a lot of light through. What more could you ask for?

Cool, have you got pictures of your Imstos lit up in the dark, Dorkvader?
My own backlit board, a Ducky Shine 3, came with PBT caps which also transmit a lot of light. But they're blanks. I really must try dyesubs on it, when I actually get some that are MX. That'll be Matteo's DSA Granite set…
