Oak refers to a number of companies starting with Oak Industries.
History
Oak Switch Systems appear to have merged with Standard Grigsby to become OakGrigsby.[1][2]
OakGrigsby were then acquired by Electroswitch in 2003.[2]
Oak-Mitsui was created as a joint venture between Oak Industries, Mitsui Mining and Smelting of Japan, and Anaconda. The presence of the Oak logo on a PCB only indicates that the PCB substrate came from Oak; it does not indicate that Oak Switch Systems were involved with the manufacture of the keyboard or its switches.
Products
Oak Industries Series 225 pushbutton switches share the same logo as that found on many keyboard PCBs.
