Outemu ICE is a series of Cherry MX clone switches from Gaote. They are SMD LED compatible with a polycarbonate housing. All ICE switches have been sold with Outemu branding on the switch top. ICE switches can be bought directly from Reddit user /u/hbheroinbob,[1] who commissioned them from Gaote. Various online keyboard-part retailers also stock ICE switches.
When bought from Heroinbob, either DIY or prebuilt switches are available. All ICE switches come with hot-swap sockets attached to the legs. These sockets are only compatible with Outemu ICE switches, and by chance a few other switches that share the same pin dimensions.
The tactile switches are described as having a short and sharp bump, while the linears are known to be somewhat smooth. The clicky switches are known for being very loud and tactile.
