I think this wiki should be here, on a better wiki engine and a host with better than flaky reliability... And since I am the only author so far I guess it is all up to me =) I will try to get the images up as soon as possible as well. The whole article should probably get an overhaul. I've learned a lot since I wrote all that, and KiCAD has developed as well.

Icarium: I think it's awesome that you're creating this. Wanted to try KiCAD for a while. Looking forward to reading your guide when I come back from my weekend trip. :)

Zip files

I have started the work on an overhaul from "scratch". That might take a while... Is it DeskThority or MediaWiki in general that doesn't support .zip-attachments?

By default MediaWiki only accepts the most common picture formats, plus PDF files I think. For additional types one needs server access to modify the configuration.--Tactica (talk) 03:37, 9 April 2024 (CEST)
