Zorro Purple is a Cherry MX clone switch of unknown origin, branded as Zorro. The switch is marginally heavier than Cherry MX Blue, and distinctly lighter than Cherry MX Green. The slider colour is actually a darker shade of magenta.
The switch contacts are a loose fit inside the shell and can be readily removed and reinserted; Cherry MX contacts in comparison are held in extremely tightly. The stationary contact is gilded and has two vertical ridges; a long, thin gilded strip on the movable contact is pressed against these ridges. This design of contacts has not been previously observed in a Cherry MX clone.
