Unfortunately, the sensing is extremely sensitive and I could not get it to work properly ...

ANSI left shift is totally doable on the XT. I've done it on mine. Just move the springs around and buy a left shift and you're golden

You could check out my Soarer's converter, it's on eBay. I hand make it and it's designed for internal use.

Short the GND and RST a few times and you'll have about a 10s window to flash the new firmware. Alternatively, map a key to enter bootloader mode as per Soarer's firmware manual.

These things are near indestructible. Water damaged and the controller is fried? No worries, just chuck a new xwhatsit and you're back in business! Only thing that could possibly damage it is rust, and even then it has to get through 2, 3mm thick steel plate before it can even be considered damaged ...

The stock XT controller can be easily adapted to USB. Why go through the trouble of replacing the PCB and controller?

What's the reason for bolt modding it though? From experience, the XT has one of the tightest sandwich between it's plates. Bolt modding is a bit unnecessary in this case right

I regularly flip between my F122 and my 3727 depending on mood haha. The F122 is great for light gaming and layout while the 3727 is great for everything else

If anybody's got the 3101 (3727) and the 3278, can you please help me check if the inside assembly is interchangeable? I'm planning to do a swap and if they're interchangeable, only the external case needs to be shipped, greatly reducing the cost.

Hi OP? Any updates? I'm quite interested in one as well haha.

Would love to see a beamspring compilation! The project would be big and it'll cost a small fortune to ship, but the thought of gathering as many beamspring in one video is an amazing idea.
