Wtf.. I havet sent the adress 2 times...7bit wrote:But they did increase the price.
I've packed some more orders, BTW and will ship them tomorrow. I will not ship order 404, because I don't have an address ...
Because that's the way they manufacture stuff: in large batches. Fewer individual items isn't only more expensive for them to make (no economies of scale) but it gets in the way of doing bigger orders. 100 switches need just as much paperwork and tool setting as 100,000. Small orders are bad news.tlt wrote: (MOQ, I'm starting to hate that concept. Way can't companies just increase the price and let us buy stuff)

Wait a moment...
OK I got the confirmation mail now. But I realized that I did use non ASCII carachters(forgot it in all haste..., åäö to be specific.) Can you resend the address and the bot updates the address?webwit wrote:Don't worry, it's a weird feature of our forum software when the PM you sent wasn't read online by the recipient. 7bit's order bot reads the email notifications however.
Thanks! Any way to track the order/do you have an ETA?7bit wrote:0416 has shipped, but there is no way I can ship the 88 blacks (0403) right now, because I don't have them yet.
OK I shouldn't have wished for that7bit wrote:But they did increase the price.
Yeah I know but there could be a company between us and the manufacturer in the supply chain that takes a cut but keep stock and sell small orders.Muirium wrote:Because that's the way they manufacture stuff: in large batches. I'm thankful we can even order switches like greens and greys. But I still want to be able to buy MXLOCKs too.
Yeah right. Please order more DT membership kits!Muirium wrote:That company's name is "CherryMX" / 7bit Industrial Switching & Keycap Small Orders. They're a one man outfit for the moment, run from a single desk…
