(MOQ, I'm starting to hate that concept. Way can't companies just increase the price and let us buy stuff )

But they did increase the price.
I've packed some more orders, BTW and will ship them tomorrow. I will not ship order 404, because I don't have an address ...

I would if I had to. 2 is what I really need!
I'm thankful we can even order switches like greens and greys. But I still want to be able to buy MXLOCKs too.
Because that's the way they manufacture stuff: in large batches. Fewer individual items isn't only more expensive for them to make (no economies of scale) but it gets in the way of doing bigger orders. 100 switches need just as much paperwork and tool setting as 100,000. Small orders are bad news.tlt wrote: (MOQ, I'm starting to hate that concept. Way can't companies just increase the price and let us buy stuff )

Don't worry, it's a weird feature of our forum software when the PM you sent wasn't read online by the recipient. 7bit's order bot reads the email notifications however.

OK I got the confirmation mail now. But I realized that I did use non ASCII carachters(forgot it in all haste..., åäö to be specific.) Can you resend the address and the bot updates the address?webwit wrote:Don't worry, it's a weird feature of our forum software when the PM you sent wasn't read online by the recipient. 7bit's order bot reads the email notifications however.

When you first sent the address, I changed it to LaTeX-style (\"o for ö) so I don't have to throw away your sticker and print again, tomorrow. But then you sent your evil unicode garbage again ...

Yeah I know but there could be a company between us and the manufacturer in the supply chain that takes a cut but keep stock and sell small orders.Muirium wrote:Because that's the way they manufacture stuff: in large batches. Information, Reviews, News, videos, pictures, forum posts about mechanical keyboard by the enthusiasts all contributes to selling more keyboards (even thought pro gaming is bigger factor). Even Logitech buys switches from Cherry now days. I can see a win win situation here if they started giving us stuff . Think about a scenario where someone here built a custom keyboard for gaming that uses MX lock for some stupid reason that gets popular and inspires manufactures to a new model. You see I got it all figured out

That company's name is "CherryMX" / 7bit Industrial Switching & Keycap Small Orders. They're a one man outfit for the moment, run from a single desk…

Payment/"shipping" update
Payment from kps has been received and marked as shipped for Paypal purposes (to keep them from locking up the PP account). Invoices may or may not reflect the payments yet. Keep checking this thread for the actual ship date(s), or spam this thread/7bit via PM the message "WHERE ARE MY SWITCHES, DID YOU SEND THEM YET." This only includes payments to me via Paypal. Note that the address on your Paypal notifications/notes are not necessarily the addresses 7bit will ship your switches to, he ships to the address on your invoice.
