Seriously 7bit, what is the status on the PCBs? I'm getting a bit bored of waiting and honestly considering just getting a different board instead... It would be nice to even just get a simple status update.

Those who chose the SYM700/ANSI700 layout: What key/layer mapping will you be going for?

Hi 7bit - I would like to switch from SYM100H to ANSI100H plate in my order. I just wanted to check if it's OK before I send a PM to the bot, because I think there are only 3 SYM100H ordered, and I don't want to drop the SYM100H count too low to be feasible to order...

Muirium's HyperMicro pictures motivated me to take a look at this keyboard again.
First, I started working on a layout and then tried to find the appropriate caps from Round 5a.
Layouts
At this point, the layouts are purely theoretical and I'm sure I will make changes once I can try them in practice.
The most interesting base layout for me is SYM100, unfortunately the shortest spacebar (convex) SP can make is 4u and because I haven't tried SA profile before and I'm not sure how a concave SA spacebar feels, I also made a layout based on SYM400.
I borrowed the Upper and Lower concept from Jack Humbert's ortholinear boards. Basically Fn0 activates the upper layer (top legends) and Fn1 activates the lower layer (bottom legends). Another interesting addition is the LockLayer toggled with FnL, which stays on permanently until FnL is pressed again. I hope to combine it with an actual locking switch. Currently, only the arrow keys are on the Lock layer.

Keycaps
I tried to find fitting Round 5a keycap for my layouts. Unfortunately, due to the sculpted profile, some keys are not available for the correct rows. What I'm missing are R2 1u Escape and Backspace, R3 1u Tab, R4 1u Shift.

I was wondering if it would be possible/useful to add also a "backplate" to 7bit's buy? I mean top plate is fine, but until there's a nice case available, I would welcome a "blank" plate that could be used as a bottom of the keyboard, just using some spacers and screws jdcarpe/ortholinearkeyboards - style.
Other than this, did stabs disappear from 7bit's / CherryMX/bot's list? I don't know where else would I get a 4u stab...
Finally - WHERE ARE THE PCBs?

I'm feeling a bit dubious about this whole ordeal... did you actually order the PCBs 7bit?
You also said you ordered them in March: http://deskthority.net/post219420.html#p219420
But you obviously must not have done so in this instance, since it's now almost October and they're not here.
If you really haven't ordered them, can I please just get a refund for my PCB + Teensy? I've been waiting for my Round 5a refund for several weeks now too.

Not sure what the problem was, but since about 3 weeks they told me they are shipped and now I got a tracking number that says they shipped only a few days ago.

You got 7bit!
Deadline: right now!!!
Deadline update: no, it's next month.
Shipnow!
These other orders that are not yours and you don't care about have shipped already.
Leftovers on sale! Order more!
Your stuff is still nowhere in sight.
Then add an inscrutable bot that you cannot understand because it's not your bot to know. And see what we're always complaining about.
