So how much are those 1800s worth? I knew it was a good price but I'm not as familiar with ISO market values.
Edit: Also, as far as the Great Finds discussion goes, do you guys think this a good thing to post here? Whoever happens to be watching gets a crack at it? Or is this better left to the diligent DT eBay searchers who put the work in?

UK layout is rarer than DE layout and this is an exceptional layout for doubleshots. I'd say at least 150€ each if they went on auction ... Considering the condition.

Nah, I think 150EUR is too much. 100 maybe. I say this because it's a new-ish board, so the switches are rubbish and since it's made in CZ the quality of the case is pretty bad too. Actually, despite it being made in CZ, it seems the case is still the same as older models.Wodan wrote: ↑UK layout is rarer than DE layout and this is an exceptional layout for doubleshots. If it were older with windows98 logo keys then it would probably be 150EUR though.
I've been trying to get a new UK ISO doubleshot set for some time, so I would have loved to get one. But to be honest I don't think I could have afforded it even at that price

Broke the bank with that massive dyesub haul eh? That was epic. I need to work on maintaining a decent keyboard cash reserve so I can strike when good stuff comes up.photekq wrote: ↑I've been trying to get a new UK ISO doubleshot set for some time, so I would have loved to get one. The keyboards are back at home! I'd have to pay £50 in train tickets to get a bowl of that PBT soup!

Normally I would have jumped on it without even thinking, but I've got my eye on something special. Limited funds, sacrifices must be made.

No that's a Fujitsu leaf spring from what I can tell. Well we'll see how much everybody will refrain from bidding...I asked politely which is all I can do. I thought I'd try a new approach.

If someone would just sell me an HHKB already for $100 we wouldn't need to resort to these antics.
(I'm not bidding on the yahoo.co.jp auctions. Tempted, though.)

The dollar's plenty strong these days, import a new one from Amazon Japan already! Worked for me. Less dicking around to do when you're in America, as usual.
The HHKB is well worth it. And if you don't think so, the next guy who buys it off you will!

Thank you very much for this link. Even if it got more expensive I feel like it is still a great value. I hope the keycaps are still nice.
