Looks like the voting is over, but the only one in the list that I would buy is the Microcassette.
If that one runs, shut up and take my money!

I'm new here, so this suggestion is probably either impossible or incredibly unpopular, but why not cream/beige on PBT? With the proper housing, the result can be spectacular:
Edit: I see there's also a vendor GB for PBT keys.

@7bit ->
If you can support the ANSI MINILA, I'd be stoked.
If the alphas and/or modifiers in this GB are black, then reusing the 3u spacebar and Fn keycaps that come with the MINILA would be an option. If there's anything I can do to save you any trouble, just let me know. I just really want some pretty, spherical keycaps for this damned layout.
@anyone who cares ->
I know the MINILA is controversial, but the ANSI version drops the bigass Enter key, and has a 2u RightShift. Personally, I couldn't live without dedicated arrow keys, so this was an ideal compromise. I use my ANSI MINILA all day, and have no issues beyond caps (though I'm not much of a typist, so may be missing something).

Can someone decipher what this means for me in 7bit speak? Sounds like the survey was an exercise in understanding what people prefer, but the end vision will be potentially anything? Apologize for being a noob. I'm just trying to understand what round 7 might hold7bit wrote: ↑Not quite.
Winners are Micro Cassette and Cream&Beige with 40 votes each, but Round 7 will come in my own color scheme (I already have a name for it, but it's still secret )

My take is that 7bit will be using that grey/creme color scheme of his. The real purpose of the poll remains a mystery, perhaps never to be known. I think it's one of those Apple things, where you find out what people really want and give it to them instead of trying to give them what they say they want. It is a nice color scheme though, so I'm not really complaining. After all, if I really wanted that Luxor ABC set that bad, there's nothing preventing me from running my own group buy (well, nothing except a total lack of relevant knowledge and experience).

Ohh... I missed the post that said the poll had closed and that had more or less no effect. I've been interested in mech keyboards for a while but only started trying to follow group-buys through DT and GH since I've acquired a less than standard keyboard which I'm keen to personalise.
My guess is that interest got revived for this thread since the recent round 6 deadline - that's what got me looking for round 7 anyway!

Hooray! I'm popular! Actually I'm a newbie here and have only made a few posts so far, but thanks for saying hi
I joined Deskthority just the other week because I intend to fully customise an Access IS keyboard I bought from Ukkeycaps. Missed out on round 6, but looking forward to round 7. I'd probably prefer SA uniform row 3, but I haven't seen other sets going with enough 1x1 keys for my liking.

Will Round 7 definitely be SA again or is this something which will be considered depending on the colors 7bit choose ?

Woo! High five! I'm starting to learn that there's a lot of patience required in waiting for the right keyset to drop. At least the wait will give you plenty of time to program your board the way you like! I wrote some pointers about programming these in the "programming Access-IS keypads" tutorial thread which you might find helpful.crazyjesse wrote: ↑This is exactly why I joined down to the keyboard exactly! I have no idea how these group buys work but I'm excited to get some keys. I'm especially excited to see Greek Keycaps.
