Just got myself one of these bad boys -- even came with a free USB hub, although it looks like it requires 110V power. I ought to be able to just replace the power supply right?

The micro to mini usb cable isn't that good to mount, idk if there are mini usb socket pcbs but you find much stuff if you search micro usb socket arduino or micro usb socket pcb.

The power supply will have an input and an output rating - it may take 110v input but output can be matched. Just find a power supply that accepts your voltage (220/230v?) and outputs the same voltage and amps.

I bought this, a Model M with black case and keycaps, can somebody answer if the case is molded out of black plastic or painted/dyed (also the keycaps)?
I am very excited to see the controller board, have "das keyboard" produced a own usb controller for Model Ms.

@alh84001 such a nice beamspring, these ones are my favourites, maybe some time in the future... but congrats to your beamspring.

Found these in the bottom of a box of vintage computer parts that I had acquired some time back. These Cherry M7 switches are definitely vintage but those spherical key cap tops are so small.

Haha, I wish it was mine :) It's alex's. To me, nicest looking beamsprings are 3278 and Displaywriter. As you say, one day...

It's a Keytronics rubberdome board, not a Model M, if I remember correctly.

Yup, first-gen Das Keyboard was a rebranded Key Tronics. (The second one was Cherry G80-3000 and the third one CST104.)

Yeah the 3278 is great, especially mr_a500''s one with APL keycaps:

I'm currently waiting on the supposedly ProWorld MX clone board as well as a couple of PCB mount cherry stabs

Anyway, here are a couple of the more rare things i bought

Image
CSC Computer Keyboard, you can already see some of that PCB shining through the back :D
I'm hoping it's Siemens STB although I would be happy with RAFI as well

Image
BOSS-1 Keyboard, probably Rubberdome, I was curious, it looks old enough to be something different and it had free shipping since it's from the CSC seller. Can't complain at 1.50€
Should probably mention that the seller had 2 and I bought the one where the comma key isn't warped.

Image
Strong Man SMK-106 with Black Alps, caps are pretty shiny sadly.

The first two keyboards saw I also on ebay, but I wasnt interested in the first one (doesn't like that keycap shape) and I also searched about the second one, but I found nothing because the name BOSS-1 puts just to much irrelevant stuff out.

Japanese? Boss like in Roland Corp.?

Got a M0118 for 5 euros, it's half working and the logo on the case has suffered, so I unsoldered the orange Alps and will put them to work elsewhere, never touched orange for many years afaik and it's quiet good I'd say. Been lucky in a way only 2 of them are clicketing on bottoming out.
Found an Amstrad CPC464 for 6 euros at the flee market this sunday, quiet a dilemna here as it looks like working, should I hack a RVB/VGA connector and do BASIC on it or sell/give away the parts and keep'n file the caps to make them fit on Cherry MX?

A Melodium! Funny at first look I though "Here goes another Bouyer", bet the foam needs replacement. Great finds indeed. That D12 would fit very nicely in front of my 4x10 bass cab  Congrats for the Beam ;)

Since we're talking Beyerdynamic microphones, I just got yesterday a Classis BM 32 B conference microphone for ~25$ that I wanna stick in my desk for skype & stuff.

Don't screw with my screw :)

It's gonna replace the awesome looking / shitty sounding Sennheiser MD 402-K. Before I found the Beyerdynamic I was thinking of pulling everything out and sticking a regular mic inside the the case so I can keep the looks and have it usable as well.

Bought some stuff: cherry G81 SAD in a very good condition and a plank with gateron greens (I will probably change them to vintage MX blacks).
