Naw, don't have that level of disposable income, sadly. It's a shame as I think that is certainly one of the most aesthetically appealing keyboards of them all.
I do however now have enough fabrication gear here at the house to do a really good replica, which I very well may end up doing. (I collect because they're functional and perty... not because I see myself as any kind of curator of history).

It is certainly because it still has a slight resemblance to a traditional 'Type-writer' hence it's desirable image portrayed and loved by most IBM collectors today.
Don't forget that ALL keyboards have taken the mantle of past inventions, we're still inputting data onto our monitor screen rather than directly onto paper.
Miss those days of using a type writer, instant satisfaction with every key-press.

If it sold for 3k, it's not overpriced.
Not overpriced? I guess there isn't much of a baseline since these don't exactly come up for auction on the open market very often. Considering the first one of these sold for $2500 and this one went for $3k, which is slightly more than what a space cadet keyboard just sold for, I wouldn't exactly call this a deal. I'm not sure of too much else that could trump a $3k price tag in terms of keyboards.

I'm afraid this is just the beginning.
Just like Graphic Card's, who knows when prices will ever drop down to reasonable levels again

Ugh, seriously. I need a new computer but keep putting it off cause the price of cards fluxes up and down and is still too high.

The damged space cadet on ebay.de sold for something like 2300€ last week, that's more than 2800$. A good condition board should fetch a bit more. Seems like they are still the top of the line

Probably following the Fohat selling advice. Watch for the price to start dropping until someone jumps on it.

If you do, be sure to get the squaretrade warranty. It looks like A POS. Probably rubber dome.

Yeah I was going to go for it, but then I read the wiki and this keyboard does not have Cherry MY switches. I'm going to pass on this one.

Yeah, that one is online for quite some time now. But is it me or the seller increased the price?
