Ah, sorry about that! Though I was bidding partly through curiosity - I hadn't asked him for a switch picture. At least we both get to see now! Typing feel is not as good as Alps, but it's an intriguing board and switch. I'll open it up and see if it matches the internals of 4_404's.

Thanks for that - yes that's a perfect switch match except the colour. Are your white ones clicky too? I'll open up the keyboard and see if the internals are the same too.4_404 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2021, 01:28I have a Fullmark board with what looks like a white version of the same switch. I thought I identified the switch, but have subsequently forgotten what it was. My Fullmark board is identical to two other boards I have with ISNJK-168/268 FCC ID (Limtech) (one with SKCM white, one with AO2 clones), apart from the label and PCB - the same as wiki/Brain_KB-9001S, but without the RB88. Note the 368 number on the plate. Sorry for the garbage photos.Spoiler:

Yeah mine are clicky, and pretty decent switches. The click leaf is visible in the opened up switch photo. They were pretty dusty when I got them, but cleaned up very well.

That's pretty good going. I found Type 0A2 switches to be such a hassle to reassemble that I desolder them all and then cleaned them...

After a trawl through the deskthority wiki I've found maybe two contenders for similarities.I really don't know, is the only picture.
Hi-Tek 15039-003
or
Sejin Electron EAT-1010
But neither of those are identical. Maybe someone with photographic memory and a vast library of a brain could indentify this keyboard. Looks generic seeing as there's no badge. And without any FCC ID it's pretty difficult to even tell what switches this thing even has. Where did you get the image?

Thanks for your help, but I can tell right away that this thing isn't made with NMB switches by the keycaps. Maybe it just has some type of Alps clones.Thorogrimm wrote: ↑31 Mar 2021, 15:57After a trawl through the deskthority wiki I've found maybe two contenders for similarities.I really don't know, is the only picture.

Leaving aside the first mistery, I have an even bigger one. This thing is driving me ABSOLUTELY MAD, hours of search and still nothing about it:
The LED positioning is the only big clue of what's inside, being Fujitsu, Key Tronic and Microswitch equally possible. I decided to produce this forensic portrait of how I think the entire keyboard looks like:

3h left in the auction if someone wants to make the sacrifice in the name of science.

those are alps cut outs for the LED's are they not. it looks somewhat similar to the epson business full keyboard. but definitely not topre underneath there, right? model reads pckb8. or do alps only have centered led cut outs. man i really wanna see what kinda switch it has.

It does indeed look a bit like Epson's Topre:
wiki/Epson_Business_Full_Keyboard
Besides the spacebar, the caps scream PBT. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a Topre.

I also have a strange one to identify, a Philips with, what it seems to be, relegendable keycaps. Sadly I do not have more details:

That's an interesting combination of legends. It has some ASCII-bit-paired caps (e.g. ‘;’/‘+’ and ‘:’/‘*’) but also non-ASCII characters (‘¬’) and a Hollerith card combo (10-8-2, which had various interpretations, typically ‘±’ or ‘\’ or ‘⏨’).
Shifted-6 would have been useful information (e.g. ‘&’ or ‘^’ or ‘↑’ or ‘¢’) as well as the other obscured key. And, well, focus.

You see these controllers could also come with a type of omron switch. The omron and topre has the same keycaps profile afaict. How did you tell them apart? The omrons have square LED windows in the top left, and the Topre have round ones in the top right
This won't be topre, could be omron though. my guess is fujitsu leaf spring or peerless

Thank you for the url.
I also found 2 older topics (first, second) about another Philips with similar switches.
Also this awesome album of images taken by @HaaTa of a Loewe TBT02 keyboard (from a Loewe BTX Decoder DBT 01 - videotext system?) that seems to have the same keycap design and similar switches.

Could not find any info on this board. I am intrigued since it has a big a*s enter like a terminal keyboard from the olden days and split backspace. All I can give to identify is the LCP logo on top right, it connects with PS/2, is made in China and it sports a "SK-900-1" marking on the model label, apart from common FCC jibberish.
The case also isn't super thin and seems big enough to house mechanical switches.

those are pad printed caps, switches are a 4 tab clone of some sort. I did have a version of that board at one point with SKBM grey but I guess yours is a later version since it has clones. chassis is nice IMO

Front has Bull logo on it, backside says Zenith.
Does that make sense? And if it’s Zenith, anyone has an idea about the switches?

Made in Japan; what do we reckon? Something Fujitsu underneath (LED in top left of switch)? Plug is round, but I guess it won't be standard DIN...
