Great Stuff! hahahaha
I could totally see myself using that thing for writing down stuff, just for the fun of it. After all these years, that commercial still really sold it to me

The IBM 5324 Computer Service Manual has a section on the keyboard, including scancodes, pinouts and layout diagrams. Minus individual part numbers, most things you need to know about it are out there. If I happen to find a parts catalog, I'll share it.

I like how they said "a computer that costs so little". It cost US $9,830 in 1981 (including printer). That's $1800 more than the average car price for 1981.

I just wanna say that I have watched that video an indefensible number of times and bothered friends and family with it. Thx. Also this is my first IBMoholics Anonymous meeting.

This is obviously a typo. Clearly he means "Busey", as in "this will quickly attract the famous actor Gary Busey".

Let's ask @Solsed to do a video of those! She can, in one fell swoop, show off her typing skills, her hands (of which we've only seen part of so far) AND the artisans she makes (with a cameo of the pink+blue cable, of course).depletedvespene wrote: ↑10 Jul 2022, 14:46This is obviously a typo. Cleaned with a toothbrush and Dawn. Let the barrels sit in hot water for about 15 mins to disolve the tar on them. Then scrubbed with toothbrush.
