When you picked that up, did you look like this?

Wow, that's the very first buckling spring. I wanted one, but the shipping would have cost 10 times more than the computer.

I sure felt like I was listing like that lmao. That thing is lethally heavy. I swear it must weigh over 100lbs

But you were wearing a suit and tie, right?

Of course, I'm never caught without my business suit, tie and IBM business pin & cufflinks. Not when there's serious business going down.

Great Stuff! hahahaha

I could totally see myself using that thing for writing down stuff, just for the fun of it. After all these years, that commercial still really sold it to me

Since there is almost no info about the Bezelmaster
The IBM 5324 Computer Service Manual has a section on the keyboard, including scancodes, pinouts and layout diagrams. Minus individual part numbers, most things you need to know about it are out there. If I happen to find a parts catalog, I'll share it.

I like how they said "a computer that costs so little". It cost US $9,830 in 1981 (including printer). That's $1800 more than the average car price for 1981.

This is obviously a typo. Clearly he means "Busey", as in "this will quickly attract the famous actor Gary Busey".

Let's ask @Solsed to do a video of those! She can, in one fell swoop, show off her typing skills, her hands (of which we've only seen part of so far) AND the artisans she makes (with a cameo of the pink+blue cable, of course). 👍

Cleaned with a toothbrush and Dawn. Let the barrels sit in hot water for about 15 mins to disolve the tar on them. Then scrubbed with toothbrush.
